Quizzes

Whether you're contributing to an event-long competition, trying to boost knowledge retention, or trying to encourage friendly competition, Quizzes can be a great way to engage your attendees.

Create A New Quiz

Begin by navigating to "Quizzes" within the "Plugins" tab in the left side navigation bar.

To create a new Quiz, select Add A New Session.

Provide a Title that makes it clear to your Attendees what they will be tested on. The Admin Description is only visible to you and your fellow event organizers -- useful for keeping track of notes and information that only you need to see.

Setting the Points Per Question allows you to adjust the impact of this Quiz on the rest of your competition (see Leaderboard for more)

Click "Create Quiz" to save your Quiz!

Next, click anywhere on the newly created Quiz to enter the Quiz Settings.

Create A Question

To begin with our Quiz, first we need to add Questions. Click Add Question to add your first question.

Your Question should:

Be less than 200 characters long
Be a multiple-choice question.

Click Add Answer to add options for your attendees.

Note: You must check "Correct Answer?" for at least one of your Answers.

Click Create and, congratulations! You've successfully created your first Quiz with a question!

Quiz Settings

In the Settings tab, you can see General Settings, which you can use to configure the Quiz elements you set when first creating the Quiz.

You can also configure the Instructions Page, which Attendees will see when they first click the link to access the Quiz. This is your opportunity to prime your audience for success by sharing a relevant Image and Instructions Text.

You may also use this page to set a Password for the Quiz. Entered passwords must match the case and spelling precisely: if you set it to "knowledge" and an Attendee types "Knowledge," they won't be able to get in.

You also have the option to Randomize Question Order and Show Feedback And Results. If you enable Show Feedback And Results, Attendees will see live feedback about how they performed in the quiz, and a comparison of their answers against the correct answers.

Sharing Your Quiz

When you're ready to share your Quiz with Attendees, click on the Attendee Quiz URL.

This will take you to a new tab. Copy the URL for that tab, and you can paste it anywhere you like inside Bluebird!
